I have a confession.  Despite our southern heritage, Corey and I both pretty much despise country music.  I can sing along to a Taylor Swift song with the best of them but in general, I find anything CMT related to be intolerable.  But this weekend, I put aside my prejudice and actually found myself enjoying it.  Nashville is first and foremost about music so I think you kind of have to.  We spent most of the weekend downtown, eating from delicious restaurants (although I had a terrifying run-in with head on shrimp that gives me nightmares) and wandering in and out of Honky Tonk bars.  There was also a brief trip out to visit a well reviewed but unfortunately closed shop and to take a brisk stroll in the park.  And although I finally began to appreciate country music, Corey and I decided to end the weekend with our best karaoke rendition of our favorite Killers song.
