Happy Valentine’s Day special hearts! Colleen and I are both super excited about today’s post because we have a very special guest here today to help us all improve our Valentine’s Day beauty.
For those of you that have ever tried to start a blog, you know that as a newbie getting into cool blogger clicks can be very difficult. Colleen and I have been very fortunate to form some very special relationships with some ladies that we truly respect and admire. This lady that is making a guest appearance today is actually our first guest blogger ever and that is very fitting as she is one of the first people that welcomed us into the blogging community with open arms and has given us an unbelievable amount of support in the last year. She is seriously and amazingly talented and also incredibly beautiful inside and out. I know I am getting a little mushy here, but at least it is Valentine’s Day which makes the sappiness more acceptable and appropriate (right?).
Lucky for all of us, she is also the premier makeup and hair artist and stylist in the Charlotte area. Believe me when I tell you that if I ever get married, it will be planned around her schedule so that I can have her work her magic on me. Many brides and other Charlotteans have to book way in advance to get a bit of the expertise that she is so generously sharing with us today. I will quit running my mouth now and turn the floor over to Mrs. Lindsey Regan Thorne of Be Pretty.
I’m Lindsey Regan Thorne and I’m a makeup + hair artist with Be Pretty (come visit me)! I had the honor of beautifying the gorgeous, Two Delighted sisters, Colleen + Megs for Colleen’s fairytale wedding. Two creative little ladies that I deeply adore… their creative minds blow me away and I’m so glad that once client turned into a friendship(s) blogger buddies!
In the next coming months we have some exciting blog collaborations… all dealing with beauty, fashion, girlfriends, sisterfriends, bloggerfriends and dressing up! 🙂 Yay!
You’re excited right!?!
In the meantime… here’s a makeup application that I fell madly in love with and perfect for Valentines day! 🙂 Dewy Pink Beauty! It’s all about the light application, hints of shimmer and delicate pinks. Enjoy!
Makeup sources: Highlight (white gold) / Brow bone (vanilla) / Crease + Lid (sin) / Inner corner liner (hollywoodland)
Inner corner sparkle (white gold) / Liner (brown) / Lipstick (Le orange) / Lipstick primer / Cheek tint / Blush
Now you guys all run over and check out some of the other posts on makeup, hair, style, and so much more that Lindsey has on her blog including her work. Also, if you are a bride or need hair/makeup/styling for any little thing at all you would be absolutely silly not to contact her. She is truly the best.
We hope you all have a lovely Valentine’s Day!
