Two weekends ago, I opened up my computer to find a word document from Corey telling me that my birthday present this year was a surprise trip to Charleston. Â Normally this would already be basically the best present ever because Charleston is my most favorite place in the world (other than Paris, possibly), but the fantasticness (yes, that is a word) was quadrupled because we weren’t supposed to do presents this year. Â So like, major surprise. Â We fell in love with Charleston when I lived there for a summer internship during school and it became even more special to us when he proposed on a walk down the Battery in front of my favorite house. Â Long story short, I would move there tomorrow if I could. Â So I apologize because although I already showed you guys some Charleston pictures this summer, I am now showing you more. Â Sorry. Â Can’t help myself.
We stayed on the Vendue Inn and it is now by far my favorite Charleston hotel. Â We had a beautiful room with a fireplace and a huge bathroom and the amenities were awesome (hello free cookies). Â Also, the location was perfect. Â We ate at Husk, Poogan’s Porch, the Rooftop Bar, and Cypress. Â All delicious. Â Although Husk was a little disappointing since you have to call a month ahead to get a reservation. Â We also took a carriage tour for the first time (awesome) and a haunted jail tour (would have been scary but the guide was pretty bad). Â Such a lovely trip. Â Really and truly, the perfect birthday present. Â Thanks Cor!
I enjoyed seeing all the pictures but the one of you all was so special. Thanks for sharing.
