Salem Trip Part 2

The nice thing about being Part 2 of the trip recap is that I don’t really even have to tell you guys anything because Meg pretty much already summed up the trip.  Basically, Salem and the nearby town of Marblehead were everything we wanted them to be.  Autumn foliage, charming houses lined up against the rocky coast, readily available and free apple cider (important!), readily available albeit expensive caramel apples (more important!), lots of Halloween crazed people, slightly terrifying lobster dinners, and witches.  So actually we didn’t see any witches even though our hotel was supposed to be pretty haunted.  But we learned all about them and it was terribly interesting and actually really sad.  I won’t get into that right now because I started out taking about how I didn’t need to say anything and yet I’m still talking so I will just stop.  Here are some of my favorite images from our trip taken on my Mamiya 645 with Portra 400.

Oh and also….Happy Halloween!!!!  If you are looking for some Halloween music, check out this playlist Meg made a couple of years ago.  It will be on repeat in my office today.
