After a long drive from LA (and some car sickness on my part), Jim, Elyse, Corey, and IÂ arrived at our cabin in Yosemite, complete with an indoor fireplace for s’mores and charming wildlife themed decorations. Â The next several days were spent hiking, driving, and wandering to see as much of the park as we could. Â Getting lost on our way to Mirror Lake, climbing to see Upper Yosemite Falls, and running through the Mariposa Sequoias. Â Pictures simply don’t do it justice. Â Thankfully we had no bear sightings, although they were always on our mind. On our way back to the cabin from our last night at dinner, we were just in time to catch the sunset.

It’s so pretty there. Your pictures are great, but that’s the way they always are!
Looks like a great place!
Your photos are absolutely gorgeous!! We went to San Francisco a couple of years ago and really wanted to do a little trip up to Yosemite but we never made it. It’s on our bucket list for sure!!

gah! your photos look amazing!
2 comments…I, too, experience car sickness if I am in the rear seat. So I either drive or ride ‘shotgun’ and no reading, cell phone, tablet-my eyes are on the road in front of me. #2 when walking ‘in the wild’ it is suggested to carry a whistle and pepper spray. Also, know the difference between bear scat and cougar scat. Bear scat contains the remains of berries. Cougar scat includes whistles and pepper spray! HA!
