For the Love of Friday

For the Love of Friday – French Voyage

Happy Friday guys!  Thank goodness because man has it been a week.  So I’m not sure how it happened, but it is almost March.  Which means it is almost April, and then really basically June already.  I feel all kinds of unprepared for our trip to France, so I am writing this post in hopes that it will make me start seriously planning.  I am beyond excited but for some reason I just can’t get with the program.  For our last trip to Europe, I had every single location planned down to the hour (ok so I’m exaggerating but that is what it felt like) and now we kinda sorta know where we are going but not really.  We are staying in Paris and actually have an apartment for a full week (yay!) because I wanted the trip to be at least somewhat leisure.  You know how when you go on a trip and then you need at least three vacations from your vacation?  Yah, I always feel that way so by only picking a few places to visit, we are trying to minimize that.  Our other locations of choice are Nice because it is supposed to be nice (ha, sorry guys) and then Provence because um have you seen these pictures of the lavender fields?  I already feel bad for Corey trying to tear me away from my camera.  Anyone been there or have any opinions on places to stay in Nice and Provence?  Knowing me I will spend no less than 56 hours trying to research the absolute best most optimal place to stay which is probably about the same as everywhere else.

Can you already taste the buttery, flaky, melt in your mouth croissants?! I wish I had recommendations of where to stay in Nice & Provence, but I have only been to Paris…you will have to give me recommendations once you figure it out, though! My husband & I are planning a similar trip for next year!
