Of all of the months of the year, I have to say that February definitely seems to be one of the quietest. Â It seems pretty comfortable with the knowledge that its offerings of Valentine’s Day and Groundhog’s Day are pretty minor compared to what some of the fancier months have to offer and that most people are eagerly looking forward to March so we can start to see the light at the end of winter’s tunnel. Â But there is a certain charm to the quiet and February is when I seem to find myself enjoying it. Â It certainly gives you more time to be introspective which is something I quite like on occasion and with fewer happenings, it makes it much easier to hide from the world. Â And little breaks from the world are definitely just the ticket ever so often. Â Here is a playlist of songs that I like to listen to when I want to embrace the quiet.
I am fairly certain that a couple of these songs have been included in playlists in the past, but I am so confident that no one will even notice which ones that I am promising cookies to any person who identifies them. Â Not you Colleen.
Here is a link to the playlist if you can’t see it on your device. Â Also, if you are on a computer and it isn’t showing, try hitting refresh.
Happy Friday and here’s wishing everyone a nice quiet weekend.
I totally know but I won’t tell. Sometimes I think you should have been a writer of some sort.
Happy Friday! Hope you have a relaxing weekend 🙂
I agree with Colleen. You certainly have a way with words. Love this post, love you and love the quiet 🙂
Anything from Emotionalism!
My birthday is in the month of February so it’s a little less quiet for me, but in a good way! I can see what you mean though, that image captures the end of January and very beginning of February for me perfectly. 🙂
I love how you’ve incorporated music into your post, those are some great tunes for this time of year!
You too Kristen! Thanks Tay and Bean. Definitely Lizzie Meb! Love you guys. Amberly, I guess a birthday would change things a bit. Happy early birthday darling! Thanks!
