For the majority of this week, I have been in Dallas, Texas for a work conference.  This was my first time to Texas, and it was not at all what I expected.  I’m not really sure what I expected.  Maybe cows running rampant and cowboy boots on every corner?  Dallas was actually quite pretty, and although I didn’t have much time for sight-seeing, I did steal away some time to take pictures around my hotel.  I think my favorite aspect of the city was how much of it seemed to be frozen in time.  There were so many beautiful retro buildings and lots of fresh greenery lining the streets.  However, I still found a bit of the Texas flair I expected in a park of herded cattle statues and several cacti scattered about.
I found the cable cars to be quite charming.
Great pics Bean! I really like those cows. 🙂
