Since our party is not at my house this year for the first time, I took the opportunity to relax a bit in my own Halloween decorating. Â I may still do some more as October goes on or I may be so busy decorating Colleen’s house for the party that I just leave it be. Â Either way, I thought it would be fun to show you guys some of my interior decorations to get us all in the mood for the first spooky weekend in October.
I am a big fan of the floating witch hat idea which I stole from Mrs. Limestone.
(just ignore where my cats have scratched the chair there)
Also please ignore all the little fingerprints scattered on mirrors throughout. Â Mirror cleaning is apparently not my strong suit.
This is a pretty exciting weekend for me because tonight I am going to pick out my pumpkins and then Saturday night we are going to a haunted trail and corn maze. Â Very festive all around. Â I hope you guys have something wonderful planned as well! Happy first weekend in October!
I love your Halloween decorating!! We just did our house this weekend, but it’s decidedly more little-kid cutesy and not creepy (like I like!) One of these days when they’re a little older!
Thanks so much Sadaf! I love little kid cutesy decorations too 🙂 I am trying to get away with slightly more creepy while I can!
