Okay, it is technically just white but I like to call it vanilla cause it seems more interesting that way. Â And reminds me of ice cream. Â Or cake. Â Mmmm…cake. Â Anyways, I painted my kitchen this weekend. Â I think I was getting jealous of Colleen getting to paint all her walls. Â There is nothing that makes a room feel cleaner than a fresh coat of paint. Â I have never really been that big of a fan of the color I had painted my kitchen when I first moved in. Â It was Montgomery White by Benjamin Moore which I wanted to be creamy and ended up being too yellowy. Â What I have found is that you pick a color with any little bit of yellow in it then when you paint your walls, it is just gonna look straight up yellow. Â The color I painted over it with is a color by Restoration Hardware called “The Right White” mixed by Benjamin Moore. Â The pictures ended up looking a little starker than it does in person but if you are looking for a white that is definitely white but also warm and creamy but not yellowy (and looks a little like vanilla ice cream) then this is your color.
Sorry if you guys are getting sick of painting updates. Â We have a springy DIY coming your way tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great week!

LOOOOVE the new color. So fresh and springy!

I love the new colour! You are right about the cream looking yellow. I love white walls (maybe I should start calling them vanilla too?). xo
Way better dude
I absolutely LOVE it…. Now I need to paint mine…
I really like it!
I admit I thought you were crazy to change a perfectly good color. But it does make a huge difference. It looks even better in person.
