Hello old time friends!  Colleen and I have had quite a busy few months with wedding preparation, me getting married, and then I went to France for 2 weeks for our honeymoon.  I thought that maybe if anyone was still out there checking in occasionally despite the fact that we haven’t blogged since January, you might want to see photos from my wedding.   It was such a beautiful day and I was so happy with how everything turned out but mostly I am so over the moon excited to be able to call Chris my husband now.  I feel so very lucky to have found someone that is so wonderful to spend my life with.  Sometimes I feel like maybe I need to pinch myself.  Our photographer, Allison Kuhn, was someone that I knew that I wanted from the very beginning after getting engaged because I knew that she would be able to capture everything perfectly.  I am happy to report that I was completely correct.  The images are so lovely and dreamy and I couldn’t be more thrilled.  I love so many of them that I want to share with y’all so I figured it would be best to break them up into a few posts.  The first group that I am sharing today are photographs from getting ready and our first look.   We started the day by getting to have one of our favorites, Lindsey Regan Thorne, come over and beautify some of my best friends along with Colleen and I.  Lindsey does such stunning work and is such a delight to be around, that I actually planned my wedding date around her availability.  True story.  She also did our hair and makeup for Colleen’s wedding and I had my heart set on having her.  After that, we drove to the venue, Separk Mansion, to get dressed.  The drop dead gorgeous bouquets were created by Melanie from New Creations Flower Company and I was oohing and ahhing over them all day.  I can’t wait to show you the rest of the florals that Melanie did in anther post.
