I met Julie several years ago through my friend Lindsay. Â I often wonder if she ever sleeps because she is constantly training for her next triathlon. Â But not just any triathlon. Â She competes in like World Championship Triathlons. Â Ridiculous. Â She is training for an Ironman right now and just looking at her Facebook posts about training makes me want to take a nap. Â But she is also one of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet. Â Ever since I’ve known her, she’s been with Jason. Â Julie and Jason are just one of those couples that make it seem easy. Â They are so thoughtful around one another and truly seem happy. Â When they first got engaged about half a year ago (has it been that long?!), Julie asked me if I would take their engagement pictures. Â Obviously, I was honored. Â We decided to make a trip to Charleston out of it because really why not. Â Lindsay came as well to take care of makeup and hair (so good right?) and Ben and Corey tagged along to make the trip even more fun. Â This magical lake/swamp area is actually the location where they got engaged, and also where they filmed that canoe scene in the Notebook. Â You know the one. Â I was on cloud nine all day long shooting these two lovely people. Â Congratulations you two – I just know your lives are going to be amazing. Â All images taken on my Mamiya 645 with Fuji 400h and processed and scanned by Photovisions.
