My china cabinet always ends up being a place where I put a lot of random things. Â The main reason for this is cat troublemakers that like to try to eat/break things. Â So when I need to put something away rather quickly, the china cabinet is typically my dumping ground. Â As a result it is always looking a fuss. Â Poor china cabinet. Â So a few times a year, I try to clean out some junk and make it look lovely again. Â Styling shelves and surfaces is, in my opinion, one of the hardest parts about decorating a house. It is always a struggle for me to figure out where to place each item to make it look fancy like the homes in the magazines. Â So after a good bit of moving around, I came up with an arrangement I am pretty happy with for now.
I finally printed out some of my England and Ireland photos and chose this one of the London eye to go on top. Â I like how the slight bit of blue in it feels cohesive with the rest of the cabinet.
Much better, right? Â We will see how long it lasts.
Looks great! I love the color of the cabinet.
What a great piece! I’m loving your photo on top. I def want to find a way to work some of my travel photos into my decor.
I can style shelving, but am struggling so much with my China cabinet! I need to print yours out to use as a guide or something – looks great! 😛
Looking good!
