This weekend is the bridal shower of my dear friend Lindsay, who you might remember from the post on her bachelorette weekend in Beaufort.  We (my friends Shannon, Sarah, Meg, and I) have been planning this shower for a while, and I cannot wait to see how it all comes together.  Since I cannot contain my excitement, I figured you guys would appease me by letting me show you the shower invites, which I kind of die over.  As usual, my girls from the Wedding Chicks hooked us up with some fantastic free printable invitations.  However, if you actually go to the link, you might notice that the text in the invitation is for a wedding.  We were so in love with them that I decided to use photoshop (elements, the cheap version, obvs) to change them into shower invites.  Then I used the same colors and fonts to create wrap-around labels for the addresses which we printed on cardstock and adhered to the envelopes with glue.  I was flying by the seat of my pants with this one, just randomly picking sizes for the labels and fonts, but I was really happy with how they turned out.  Also, luckily, the glue seemed to stay on since we have received an RSVP from all of the guests (except one, but that is to be expected).
